Plainfield School District 202 Foundation for Excellence is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to the development of enrichment programs and services that make a significant contribution to the quality of education. Since its establishment in 1983, the Foundation has raised and contributed more than $1.1 million to support District 202 students and staff by funding grants, scholarships and projects. It has also supported special programs such as the Great Read, a District Art Gallery and the 1847 Schoolhouse Restoration.

The Foundation for Excellence will:

• Promote excellence and achievement for learners

• Encourage innovation in the teaching/learning process

• Enhance collaboration between the Foundation and greater community
